During my stay at Barranquero, I had the incredible opportunity to explore the stunning natural surroundings. Wading through the rivers to reach the hotel was an adventurous experience that added excitement to my trip. The location, nestled in the Zaino jungle but still conveniently close to the main road, allowed for easy access to Palomino, Santa Marta, and Tayrona. The design and layout of the rooms, central building, and gardens were aesthetically pleasing and showcased the owners' impeccable taste. As a lover of French cuisine, I was delighted by the delicious and varied daily changing courses served in the restaurant. The terrace provided the perfect vantage point to admire the colorful bird species that frequented the area. The staff at Barranquero were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The nearby hiking trails, offering breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, provided ample opportunities to connect with nature. I highly recommend Barranquero for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway.
